Baby, it’s cold outside!

Taken Thursday morning when the temperature was 26 degrees in Tryon with a wind chill of 14, the fountain at St. Luke’s Plaza was an icy sight. High temperatures this week have been at freezing or below in our area; Tallahassee, Savannah, and Charleston have experienced rare snow; the North Carolina Outer Banks experienced snow and wind gusts in excess of 70 mph; and the northeast is covered in blizzard conditions. When will Winter Storm Grayson’s grip end in the Foothills? Monday might bring a rain/ice mix, but after that temperatures should lift into the 40s and 50s. (Photo by Gwen Ring)
