During the month of December 2017, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 638 calls for service.

There were 14 felony arrests made, 26 misdemeanor arrests and 26 citations issued.

Officers completed 1,011 house checks, 3,421 business checks, 1,693 church checks, assisted the public nine times, served 66 civil papers, 48 criminal papers and patrolled 24,744 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 77 inmates, including 58 males and 19 females.
