The local American Association of University Women (AAUW) chapter adopted a family and recently delivered gifts to Steps to HOPE for a family in need.

The Adopt-A-Family program at Steps to HOPE combines generous donations from community members with support from the Polk County Community Foundation, the Polk County Toy Run, and other partners, to give a hand up to families struggling to make ends meet at Christmastime.

Steps to HOPE is the domestic violence and sexual assault treatment and prevention center serving Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina.
