TRYON-The Tryon Police Department announced Tuesday, Dec. 12 that missing 16-year-old Braden M. Scarborough, of Tryon was located and is safe.

The police department had been requesting information from the public to help find Scarborough, who was last seen in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Dec. 5. Scarborough recently had surgery and needed medication and follow-up care.

The Tryon Police Department thanked residents, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville Police Department with their assistance in Scarborough’s return.
