Pamela Ann Waldrop Gibbs passed away in her sleep on the morning of November 29, 2017. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.
Pam was born June 28th, 1956 in Greenville, SC to the late Charles Edward Waldrop and Margaret Nicholson Waldrop.
Pam is survived by husband, William Michael Gibbs of Tryon, NC; three children: Michael Shane Gibbs (Stacie) , William Travis Gibbs and Ashley Michelle Gibbs (Chris), all of Tryon, NC; two grandchildren: Shaina Gibbs and Hunter Gibbs, of Tryon, NC; Mother-in-law, Mary Gibbs of Tryon; three siblings: Beverly Dianne Waldrop (Terry) of Simpsonville, SC, Ray Vester Waldrop of Easley, SC and Theresa Waldrop Bird (Phil) of Greer, SC; brothers-in-law: Johnny Gibbs (Debbie) and Bobby Gibbs of Tryon, NC. Also surviving are six nieces and nephews.
Pam will leave behind many wonderful memories for those who were a part of her life. She loved to travel and loved to dream about places she would like to visit. Pam was also very creative, loved art and had a great imagination. Her sense of humor was often silly as well as hilarious which was just a part of her fun-loving personality. Her life was often like watching an episode of one of her favorite TV shows, “I Love Lucy” because as with Lucy, you never knew what Pam would get herself into.
Pam’s passing will leave a void in the lives of all who knew and loved her. A void no one will ever be able to fill. We are deeply saddened by this loss but Pam’s spirit will always be with us. We will love her, miss her and keep the memories of Pam in our heart for the rest of our lives.
