During the month of October 2017, the Tryon Police Department answered 232 calls for service.

There were four arrests, one citation, 60 security checks, 15 disturbance calls and 27 investigations.

Officers responded to six accidents with property damage, did one traffic control, assisted other agencies 18 times and unlocked nine vehicles.
