Tom Swift passed away Thursday at Elizabeth House in Hendersonville.  He brought laughter and great stories to everyone he met, and he never met a stranger.

Tom was a graduate of the Wharton School at U of Pa, a Navy pilot in WWII, and a business man.  He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary C. Swift, sons David and Tim (Debra), daughter Anne and 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec 2 at St. John the Baptist Church in Tryon.
