December news at Pearson’s Falls
Published 2:01 pm Tuesday, November 28, 2017
Pearson’s Falls is the perfect place to get outdoors with friends and family as our warm, sunny fall continues. Bring your camera and enjoy the gradual quarter-mile hike up the trail along rushing Colt’s Creek to the impressive 90-foot waterfall. There are benches to sit and enjoy nature, picnic tables, covered shelters in case of showers, and an impressive green bathroom with composting toilets and a living roof composed of plants native to Pearson’s Falls glen.
Our hours are new in December. We will be closed on Wednesdays Dec. 6, Dec. 13, and Dec. 20 for fall trail maintenance and storm cleanup. We are open Sunday through Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. (last admittance 4 p.m.). The last week of December we are closed on Christmas Day and open Dec. 26 through Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. We are closed the month of January.
