The Polk County High School Interact Club, under the leadership of club sponsor Lori Connet, recently donated approximately 100 food items to Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry. Club members were given a list of traditional Thanksgiving and Christmas food items and were encouraged to purchase at least 10 items. Club members hope that these food items will allow more Polk County families to enjoy a home-cooked holiday meal during this special time of year. (Submitted by PolkStudents.com)
