Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 98 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Stephanie Ellen Angus was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Angus was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Darryl Defores Banger was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Banger was sentenced to two years supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $300 fine and court costs.

Missy Surrett Bradley was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Bradley was fined $50 and court costs.

Eric Steve Cosme was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Cosme was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Scott Andrew Dunn was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Dunn was fined $25.

Jimmy Justin Hipp was convicted of level three driving while impaired. Hipp was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 72 hours of community service, a $50 fine and court costs.

Scott Jerald Kimmins was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Kimmins was fined $25 and court costs.

Victoria Lynn Martinez was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Martinez was fined $90 and court costs.

Robert Vance McCraw was convicted of indecent exposure. McCraw was sentenced to four days in jail with credit for time served.

Jose Transito Perez was convicted of no operator’s license. Perez was fined $50 and court costs.

Gregory Scott Poteat was convicted of resisting public officer. Poteat was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.

April Suzanne Praytor was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Praytor was fined $25.

Joseph Patrick Reed was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Reed was fined $40 and court costs.

Katherine M. Robinson was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Robinson was fined $50.

Brandon N. Sprouse was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Sprouse was fined $50 and court costs.

Catherine L. Wachtell was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Wachtell was fined $100 and court costs.

Joshua Aaron Williams was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon. Williams was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
