Last chance to see TLT’s “Outside Mullingar”

After rave reviews, actors and crew are ready to recreate the magic—Tryon Little Theater’s latest production is running for a second weekend, Thursday Nov. 16 – 19, at the TLT Workshop in Tryon.

Written by John Patrick Shanley (who has written over 23 plays and screenplays, including “Moonstruck” and “Doubt”), “Outside Mullingar” has been described as Shanley’s most loving and most beautiful work to date.

“The play captures the subtle ‘twinkle in the eye’ humor of the Irish, and it’s such an unusual, quirky love story,” says Catherine Gillet, director. “The cast of four are all virtuosos of their craft,” she adds, “and inhabit their characters so naturally, that it can be unnerving at times.”
