McFarland’s plans annual Christmas memorial service

Published 2:24 pm Monday, November 13, 2017

McFarland Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Tryon will be hosting their annual Christmas Memorial Service on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 3 p.m.

The service is for everyone to remember those they have lost, whether it was recent or from years ago. McFarland Funeral Chapel extends this invitation to families that may have been served somewhere else.

Christmas can be a difficult time after a death has occurred. A message of hope will be given by Dr. Chris Osborn and Rev. Sean McKaig, music will be provided by Crossroads Baptist Church Choir, and a tree of remembrance will be lit in memory of the loved ones who have been lost. Also during the service there will be a remembrance of our veterans presented by the Polk County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. Light refreshments will follow the service providing a time for fellowship.
