For the month of October 2017, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 611 calls for service.

There were 25 felony arrests, 44 misdemeanor arrests and 35 citations issued.

Officers completed 1,112 house checks, 3,255 business checks, 1,891 church checks, assisted the public five times, served 69 civil papers, 51 criminal papers and patrolled 22,177 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 89 inmates, including 24 females and 65 males.
