On Veteran’s Day, November 11, all veterans will receive free admission to Pearson’s Falls in honor of their service to our country. Come and enjoy all the fall color as you hike the trail along Colts Creek to the 90-foot waterfall. You will find picnic tables, lots of benches to sit and enjoy the cool, quiet glen, and many photo opportunities.

There is an admission fee to Pearson’s Falls & Glen. All veterans will be admitted free of charge but not others with them. The hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. (Gate closes at 4 p.m.). Pearson’s Falls is located at 2748 Pearson Falls Rd., Saluda, NC 28773. From Saluda follow Hwy. 176 south down the mountain about three miles. Watch for signs on the right for the turn to Pearson’s Falls. From Tryon, take Hwy. 176 north about four miles. Watch for signs for the turn to Pearson’s Falls on your left.

Or, drive down Pearson’s Falls Road, which begins near the bakery and garden center across from Saluda Elementary School. Follow the road down to 2748 Pearson Falls Road.
