Body models help PCHS health students expand knowledge

Health Science I honors students at Polk County High School recently created body models to further their knowledge of the human body.

Each student chose an organ, organ system or body part to create. They presented these to the class, explaining how they were made. Students labeled the models in detail. The completed models were showcased in the media center.

Students and teachers were impressed with their creativity and knowledge. “Awesome work,” said Matt Renn, college advisor at PCHS. “Very creatively and professionally done.”
