Ronald “Rick” Richard Gaynor, 62, of Tryon, N.C. passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 12, 2017 at the Smith Phayer Hospice House, Landrum, S.C.

Born in Sioux City, Iowa, on Oct. 24, 1954 he was the son the late James Leroy Gaynor and the late Lavonne Walburga Singer.

Surviving are daughters, Sara G. Price, Amber and Ashley Gaynor, and son Richard Gaynor.

A memorial service was held at Grace Bible Church in Rutherfordton, N.C. with Mr. Gaynor’s son in law Mark C. Price officiating.
