During the month of September 2017, the Columbus Police Department answered 489 calls for service.

There were eight misdemeanor arrests and one driving while impaired arrests and 227 total charges and citations.

Officers completed 8,688 premise checks, including 144 resident checks, 8,319 business checks and 225 church checks.

The department assisted other agencies 13 times, completed 480 community patrols and received 60 hours of training.
