Virginia Kathleen Graves, 91, of Tryon, N.C. died, Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 in White Oak Manor of Tryon.

Born in Aurora, Ill., she was the daughter of the late George and Kathleen Beiver Banbury. She was the widow of Robert Graves who passed away in 1990. Virginia enjoyed painting, quilting, and reading. She was a member of Tryon Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are a son, Claude Graves (Elaine) of Tryon, N.C.; a daughter, Kathryn Sidener (Dave) of Columbus, N.C.; two grandsons, Zeke Graves and Jacob Graves (Abby); two great grandchildren, Elyson and Quinn.

Services will be private.
