Dwight Piercy Morgan, 74, of Saluda, N.C. passed away Friday afternoon, Aug. 18, 2017 following a period of declining health.

Born in Henderson County, N.C., he was the son of Teddy and Agnes Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a dress designer for many years having worked for Ruth Originals in Hendersonville and Butte Knit in Spartanburg. In his later years he was a caregiver. Mr. Morgan attended Tracy Grove Baptist Church in Hendersonville.

Surviving is one sister, Patricia M. Cabe of Franklin, N.C.; two brothers, Paul Morgan (Shirley) of Hendersonville, N.C. and George P. Morgan of Saluda, N.C. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 in Shepherd Memorial Park, Hendersonville, N.C. with Rev. Randy Lucas officiating.
