The next Pea Ridge community gathering will be held Thursday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Community Center.

Local resident Rosemary Taylor will bring her band Rosey and the Rosebuds to present bluegrass music as entertainment for theevening. Everyone is welcome.

Bring snacks and sodas. Paperware and ice will be furnished. There will be a special collection taken for the Scholarship Fund which is in place of presenting the usual fall fundraising breakfast.

You may bring your recyclables to the community center located at 207 Big Level Road, Mill Spring any time all day Thursday as the Polk County recycling containers will be located inside the tennis court fence for your dropoff. The truck will pick up early on Friday, Oct. 13.
