Tracie Lynn Wood, 54, passed away on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tracie was the daughter of the late Paul and Linda Van Dusen. She was employed by Dollar Tree for over 20 years and served as the store manager at the Forest City location.

Surviving is her husband of 40 years, Thomas Lee Wood of Forest City, N.C.; a son, James Paul Wood of Forest City, N.C.; a daughter, Laura Lee Wood of Mill Spring, N.C.; a brother, Michael Paul Van Dusen of Candler, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Austin Lee Martin and Jonas Logan Halford.

Also surviving are two nieces, Ashley Wood and Jennifer Duncan and two nephews, Christopher Wood and Greg Hudgens.

Services will be private.
