Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 153 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

John Allen Albree II was convicted of violation of court order and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Albree was sentenced to three days in jail, one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Nicholas Alexander was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Alexander was fined $40 and court costs.

James Alan Balta was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Balta was sentenced to two years supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $300 fine and court costs.

Jerry Allen Bammer was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Bammer was fined $40 and court costs.

Bobby Wayne Bone was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Bone was fined $40 and court costs.

Crystal Gladet Bowers was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Bowers was fined $40 and court costs.

Andrew Paul Brown was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Brown was fined $40 and court costs.

Kyle Franklin Buff was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Buff was sentenced to 45 days in jail.

Alexandria C. Caldwell was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Caldwell was fined $40 and court costs.

Benjamin J. Caples was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Caples was fined $50.

Megan Elizabeth Carmona was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Carmona was fined $40 and court costs.

Matthew T. Cockerham was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Cockerham was fined $40 and court costs.

Thomas Aron Colt was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Colt was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

James Gregory Darnall was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Darnall was fined $40 and court costs.

Nathan T. Edwards was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Edwards was fined $40 and court costs.

Tony Marvin Ely was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Ely was fined $40 and court costs.

Daniel Jude Farrell was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Farrell was fined $40 and court costs.

Feliciana Ray Guillen was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Guillen was fined $90 and court costs.

Elizabeth Ann Hunt was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Hunt was fined $40 and court costs.

Jesse Mumin Kirayoglu was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Kirayoglu was fined $40 and court costs.

Nicole Allison Leffew was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Leffew was fined $25 and court costs.

Eric William Lewis was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Lewis was fined $40 and court costs.

Luong Huu Mai was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Mai was fined $40 and court costs.

Raul Felipe Martinez was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Martinez was fined $40 and court costs.

Nickolas Bo McDevitt was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. McDevitt was fined $40 and court costs.

Victor David Montaz was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Montaz was fined $40 and court costs.

Alycia Marie Ogden was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ogden was fined $90 and court costs.

Michael James Phung was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Phung was fined $40 and court costs.

Jonathan David Porter was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Porter was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.

Keyan Ahmad Riddick was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Riddick was fined $40 and court costs.

Joseph Elliot Rodgers was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Rodgers was sentenced to two years supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Vance Ryan Tatro was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Tatro was fined $40 and court costs.

Robert S. Tillotson was convicted of resisting public officer and failure to appear. Tillotson was sentenced to seven days in jail with credit for time served.

Brandon James Umlauf was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Umlauf was fined $25.

Michael Travis Waddell was convicted of level three driving while impaired, resisting public officer, breaking and or entering, level two driving while impaired and level one driving while impaired. Waddell was sentenced to three years supervised probation, three days in jail with credit, a $200 fine and court costs for level three driving while impaired and resisting officer; three years supervised probation, $100 fine, $1,850 in restitution and court costs for breaking and or entering; three years supervised probation, 30 days in jail with credit, a $350 fine and court costs for level two driving while impaired and three years supervised probation, 120 days in jail, a $350 fine and court costs for level one driving while impaired.

Jesse Tyler Walker was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Walker was fined $40 and court costs.
