During the month of August 2017, the Tryon Police Department answered 213 calls for service.

There was one arrest, eight citations, two accidents with property damage, eight traffic controls, 48 security checks, 30 disturbance calls, 10 investigations, 22 assists to other agencies and eight unlocked vehicles.
