The home of Carole Bartol in Landrum was the venue for the first meeting of the Foothills Music Club this fall on Sept. 14. There was an excellent turnout, plus two prospective new members. Eleven musicians from the club presented a program that included voice, piano, piccolo, bassoon, flute, guitar and melodica, and composers ranging from Jules Massenet to Irving Berlin.
