Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, with Judge Athena Brooks presiding, 128 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Margeaux Marie Day was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Day was fined $40 and court costs.

Cortina L. Deloach was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Deloach was fined $40 and court costs.

Jonathan E. Gaydish was convicted of probation violation. Gaydish was sentenced to seven days in jail with seven days credit and probation terminated.

Landon Billy Gordon was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Gordon was fined $40 and court costs.

Marina Leonidovn Gray was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Gray was fined $40 and court costs.

Dianna Shacklock Hake was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Hake was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.

William Curtis Hyatt was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Hyatt was fined $40 and court costs.

Jose Jimenez-Beltran was convicted of speeding 94 mph in a 70 mph zone. Jimenez-Beltran was to pay court costs.

Eddie Morris Jones was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Jones was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

David Andrew Justice was convicted of probation violation and resisting public officer. Justice was sentenced to 75 days in jail with credit for 51 days for probation violation and 60 days in jail for resisting public officer.

James Lee London II was convicted of level two driving while impaired. London was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, 10 days in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

Bryce Kendel Maginley was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Maginley was fined $40 and court costs.

Mitchell Joseph Martin was convicted of fictitious information to officer. Martin was sentenced to two days in jail with credit and court costs.

Amy Victoria Painter was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Painter was to pay court costs.

Nathan S. Rabensteine was convicted of unsafe movement. Rabensteine was fined $50 and court costs.

Louis Gregory Ray Jr. was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ray was fined $10 and court costs.

Darin Thomas Schantz was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Schantz was fined $30 and court costs.

Amanda Brooke Scruggs was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Scruggs was fined $40 and court costs.

Karen Ann Shimp was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Shimp was fined $50.

Eduard Tereshchenko was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Tereshchenko was fined $50 and court costs.

Melanie Ann Verner was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Verner was fined $10 and court costs.
