Tommy John Russell and Shining de Reve won the Atlanta 25k Grand Prix last Saturday.

Russell said, “It was a very special night for us to win my late Uncle Billy’s Grand Prix.” With three very fast horses in the jump off, Russell, with the last horse in, had the crowd on their feet with a blazing performance to beat the clock. Russell’s sponsors, Troy Ball and Jean Claude Adekin of Clair de Lune Farm, Tryon, not only won the class with their French gelding, they also won The Bill Russell Memorial Charity Calcutta with their generous bid on Russell and Shining de Rev.
