The Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce’s 19th Annual Otho Gibbs Chamber Golf Tournament will be held on Sept. 21 at Meadowbrook Golf Club with Home Trust Bank as presenting sponsor of the event. Applications are available at the Chamber office, Home Trust Bank or at carolinafoothillschamber.com.

Registration begins at 11 a.m., with lunch before play provided by Meadowbrook, and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Award presentations and raffle prizes will follow play, along with our famous IGA rib-eye steak cookout. Prizes will be awarded to first and second place teams in two flights. There will also be prizes for closest to the pin, most accurate drive as well as lots of raffle prizes from local businesses. The format of the tournament is Captain’s Choice, and the fee to play is $75 which includes green and cart fees, two meals, snacks and beverages during play.

If you are not a golfer, you can still participate by being a hole sponsor, and we will place a full-color two-sided sign at the hole of your choice. The proceeds of the golf tournament help to fund the Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber Foundation. The Chamber of Commerce, a nonprofit organization, has served our communities for over 80 years by being the primary central source of information for our area and promoting our businesses to residents, visitors, newcomers and everyone.
