The Tryon Garden Club will hold its first fall meeting on Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. at FENCE in Tryon. Our speaker is floral designer Margaret Brown from Augusta, Ga., who has provided all the floral arrangements to the Masters Golf Tournament at Augusta National since 1982. She will present a lively talk with a lot of anecdotes from her years of involvement at the Masters as well as interesting floral tips.

The Tryon Garden Club is a 501(c)3 organization, one of the oldest garden clubs in North Carolina, having been organized in 1928.

The meetings are free and the public is invited to attend. FENCE is located at 3381 Hunting Country Road in Tryon. For directions, call 828-859-9021 or visitFENCE.org.
