Volunteers at St. Luke’s Hospital are having a special sale to raise funds for college scholarships for local students interested in healthcare careers. The hospital-based St. Luke’s Gift Shop in the hospital’s front lobby is holding a 50 percent off sale for home décor, clothing, jewelry, accessories and more! Although candy, books, cards and artisan-made consignment items are not included in the sale, these items are always available at a great price, according to Marcie Mack, gift shop manager.

“We’re pleased to provide scholarships to seniors from Polk County High School and Landrum High School, and we’re pleased to help support their college careers as they study for health-related futures,” Mack said.

The Gift Shop sale will be held from Aug. 28-Aug. 30. The shop is open from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
