Polk County Sheriff’s Office honors murder victim Tommy Bryson

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office remembered the life of Tommy Bryson at the Polk County Courthouse on Thursday night, Aug. 2. Bryson is believed to have been kidnapped and murdered by Phillip Stroupe II, who was on the run a couple weeks ago in the Pisgah National Forest. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search for Stroupe in Transylvania County. Bryson went missing from Henderson County and Stroupe was found in Bryson’s truck.
