LANDRUM – The Landrum Police Department recently arrested a man and charged him with several counts of child sex crimes against two 13-year old girls, according to police reports.

John Steve Pierce, 55, of 200 S. Randolph Avenue, was charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, 3^rd degree, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and two counts of unlawful to disseminate obscene material to person under 18 years of age, according to police reports.

Pierce is accused of sex crimes with two 13-year old girls as well as giving them marijuana and a porn magazine, according to reports.

Landrum police officers said the incidents allegedly occurred at his home in Landrum during the months of June and July this year.

Pierce was arrested on Monday, Aug. 7 and was still in custody as of late Tuesday, Aug. 8 at the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
