Brenda Joyce Wyatt Emery, age 68 of Mill Spring, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Spartanburg, S.C. to the late Horace D. “Red” Wyatt and Dorothy J. Black Wyatt.

She was also predeceased by a grand daughter, Kena Nicole Eubanks.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny L. Emery; four children, Kenneth Scott and Melissa Smith of Gramling, S.C., Keena Michelle Smith and Tisha Jolene Smith of the home, and Jonathan Mark and Amy Emery of Kernersville, N.C.; three sisters, Martha and David Davis, Mary and Craig Avery, and Nancy Pruitt all of Inman, S.C.; 12 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Green Point Baptist Church in Boiling Springs, S.C. with Rev. David Lancaster and Rev. John Williams officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens.
