The Town of Columbus recently got a new informational kiosk outside town hall. Columbus council met July 20 and heard from Robert Williamson representing the Discover Columbus committee, who said the old kiosk was replaced with a new one and installed on July 19. The Polk County Appearance Committee gave Discover Columbus a grant for the kiosk. Williamson said LED lights for the inside of the kiosk were a part of the grant.
