Several area children raised money for the Harmon Field playground on Saturday, July 22 by setting up a lemonade stand in front of the Tryon Coffeehouse Co-op. The children raised almost $300 in just three hours in Saturday’s heat by selling organic lemonade. Fans of Harmon Field is raising money for a new playground at Harmon Field. Donations can be sent to Fans of Harmon Field, P.O. Box 891, Tryon, NC 28782. The children will also be setting up the stand during the community yard sale on Aug. 12.
