Polk Fit, Fresh and Friendly offers information on the SLIP Program

Polk Fit, Fresh and Friendly (PF3) invites you to attend our bi-monthly general meeting on Thursday, July 27.

The meeting will be held at Polk County Library located at 1289 West Mills Street, Columbus from 12 – 1 p.m.

Patty Martin will present information on Saluda Living in Place (SLIP) – Supporting People to Maintain the Quality and Safety of Life at Home.

SLIP is currently gathering resources that offer needed services to senior citizens who choose to age in their own home.

Martin is a registered nurse and previously worked with the Nurse Family Partnership through Rutherford Polk McDowell Health District. She currently volunteers as a parish nurse in the Saluda area.
