On Tuesday, July 25 the Foothills Fire District will hold the annual budget meeting in the Tryon Fire Department at 5 p.m.

Last year the district collected $39,615 and expended $41,325. The difference came from the reserve account. To build the reserve account a tax millage increase of about 2 mills may be needed. A millage increase of 2 mills will increase the tax on a $100,000 home about $200 per/year.
