I believe “Citizens of the Year” is the understatement of the century. I have lived in Tryon / Polk County for over thirty years and don’t think there has been a single year, or month, when James and Jim have not bolstered the “goodness” of life as we know it. They both have lived their lives, and contributed their smiles to benefit all citizens. The honors to be received on July 18 are well deserved.
