McFarland Funeral Chapel is proud to announce that Sean McKaig has earned his funeral service degree from Fayetteville Tech Community College.

Sean is a native of Columbus and he has been employed at McFarland Funeral Chapel since 2012. Sean is the son of Rodney and Audrey Ross McKaig of Columbus. He completed his apprenticeship in 2013, and became a licensed funeral director in 2015.

Sean is a graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College Funeral Service Education Program. In addition to helping families arrange services for their loved ones, he is also a licensed embalmer.

He is very involved in his church, Midway Baptist Church, where he is the youth coordinator. Sean coaches baseball and basketball, is an avid golfer, and is a member of Tryon Country Club. Sean, his wife, Noelle, and two sons, Hudson and Cooper, reside in Landrum, S.C.
