Foothills Humane Society is pleased to announce receipt of a generous grant from IBM Corporation in recognition of the ongoing dedication of Evalynn Hyra for her volunteer work at the shelter. IBM’s Community Service grants are based upon requests from employees or retirees who are active volunteers for nonprofit organizations. FHS intends to use the monies to expand the shelter’s training program and for replacement of agility equipment used during weekly training classes and by volunteers and staff who exercise the shelter dogs daily.
The executive director of Foothills Humane Society, Chris Taylor, and the board members wish to express their appreciation for IBM’s grant award and for the continued support of our mission, both by IBM Corporation and Evalynn Hyra, to save as many lives as possible while offering support to citizens in need from our community.
