Owens named to All-Western North Carolina baseball squad

Polk County rising senior Holden Owens has been named to the All-Western North Carolina baseball squad as chosen by the Asheville Citizen-Times. Also chosen for the All-Western Highlands Conference squad and North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association 2A all-state team, Owens led the Wolverines to a playoff berth in 2017, hitting .475 with 19 RBI and 13 doubles.
