Next Pea Ridge gathering to feature Bill Mosseller

The next Pea Ridge community gathering will take place on Thursday, July 13, at 7 p.m. in the community center.

Area residents and interested persons are cordially invited to attend and bring a churn of homemade ice cream. If you are unable to supply ice cream, please bring toppings or fruits, desserts, snacks and beverage. Paperware will be furnished. The center is located at 207 Big Level Road, 3.5 miles east of Mill Spring, just off Highway 108.

The evening guest speaker will be Tryon native Bill Mosseller, a primitive hunting expert. Bill appeared on the Pursuit Channel on Direct TV and Dish Network last January, filmed on location in Tryon and Western North Carolina. He will show some of his many arrowheads, spears and equipment made and used by the first hunters of America.
