Last year’s inaugural game in front of a large crowd featured teams divided by year of graduation, with the pre-2000 graduates more than holding their own before falling 112-96 to the younger alums.

For this year’s game, Polk County head boys basketball coach Antoni Staley has adopted a Tryon vs. Polk Central approach, with some “creative” roster assignments.

Those tentatively scheduled to play or coach include:

TRYON
Chris Mintz, Matt McCalister, Dylan Jones, Gavrick Carson, Clemon Booker, Malik Miller, Mike Duncan, Jaron Bontrager, Sarah Phipps, Samuel Vining, Hayley Kropp, Timothy Brown, Stevie Palmer, Jose Blanco, Jaylin Hines and Brandon Highsmith.

POLK CENTRAL
Cait Crew, William Rogers, Eric Waddell, Jenny Wolfe, Kimberly Jackson, Kevin Lynch, Eric Russell, Kamron Kerr, Deshea Briscoe, Steven Hines, Darius Twitty, Rustin Muse,
Jermichael Tanner, Jamal Tanner, Stephen Staley and Antoni T. Staley.
