Polk County rising senior Holden Owens is building his baseball resume ahead of his final season as a Wolverine. The all-state selection earned all-tournament honors at the World Wood Bat Association 17U qualifier, held earlier this month in Cartersville, Ga. Owens plays with CBC Baseball West (Scout), a travel squad based in Charlotte. CBC finished 2-4-1 in the tournament. Owens hit .389 (7-for-18) in the tournament with a double and triple.
