Special Cases: The power of prayer

Published 10:00 pm Thursday, June 22, 2017

Dear readers, I once again apologize for missing last week’s column. I’ve been busy with personal problems. When you read this I’ll be at Mission Hospital in Asheville recovering from heart surgery, a four-way bypass. I will be recovering, your prayers have seen to that. With the dialysis it’s going to pretty tricky, but your prayers have sent me a top specialist in this field.

I’ve been catching up on all my expenses. By now you know that there are always cases you won’t hear about. Approximately $2,000 has been spent in the last month and a half and I have only one case pending which pleases me, for I’ll have something to look forward to when I come home.

Dr. Ian Fitch at Bonnie Brae assures me that Baby Angel’s mom is a loving owner and in serious need.

“I’ll help all I can with the bill, Lennie,” Ian told me while offering prayers for my operation.

“Thanks, Ian, just do what you can to help that little girl, everything else has been taken care of.”

So to all of you if you don’t hear from me for awhile, keep the faith.

As always, thank you for your support, thank you for your prayers and thanks for listening.
