Anne Moss joins Board of Directors at Steps to HOPE

Anne Moss recently joined the Board of Directors at Steps to HOPE and is thrilled to be involved and eager to work towards ending domestic violence in our community.

Anne is originally from Augusta, GA. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Art and Interior Design from Converse College in Spartanburg and her Master’s degree in counseling from Augusta State University. She is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Counselor for Substance Abuse in NC and GA. She has worked with adolescents and adults who struggle with chemical dependency and has seen the effects of domestic violence firsthand in her work.

Anne has two children. Her son Ash, who is an Eagle Scout and lives in Atlanta, was recently awarded Officer of the Year by the Atlanta Police Department. He currently works at Georgia Tech in the Fire and Safety Department. Anne’s daughter, Brittany, lives in Charlotte with her husband, Adam, and their nine month old son, Jack. Brittany is an NCAA Scholar Athlete from Furman University where she played soccer and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She completed her education with a Master’s degree from Princeton Seminary.

When Ann is not enjoying her new grandson, she continues to work in the substance abuse field. She also enjoys horseback riding and volunteering in the community.
