At the May 11 meeting of Pea Ridge Community Club, the annual $500 scholarship was awarded to Polk County High School graduating senior Logan Morlino from the Pea Ridge community. 

Brenda Bean and Ann Carswell, members of the Academic Scholarship Selection Committee, were impressed with Logan’s outstanding scholastic achievements. She is the daughter of Eric and Heather Morlino. Logan plans to attend Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vt. and study environmental law and policy. 

The Pea Ridge Community Club was pleased to present this scholarship in memory of Julie Precourt, former member of the selection committee. The group will continue with fundraising events for this program.
