Polk County FFA Land Judging Team finishes strong at nationals

The 2017 Polk County FFA Land Judging team may not have won the National Land Judging Competition in Oklahoma City, Okla.; however, they maintained the Polk County FFA Chapter’s consistency of always being at the top. The team placed 25tt out of 93 teams, second in the Southeast and was the top finishing team from North Carolina. The team toured many landmarks including the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial, Stockyard City and National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Polk County Farm Bureau, Nature’s Storehouse, Carolina Farm Credit, Ruff Logging and others helped sponsor the trip. (photos submitted by Chauncey Barber)
