The most highly rated and highest grossing comedian for almost 15 years, Gallagher has 14 Showtime specials and 3,500 live shows to his name.

Historically playing arenas and large concert halls, he is bringing his final tour to smaller venues, allowing more interaction with the audience, to the delight of his loyal fan base.

“My new live show is a whirlwind of ad lib spontaneous fun,” Gallagher notes in a message on his Facebook page. There will be no fruit smashing due to the theater set-up, and please be aware that this show will be rated “R” due to content and language.

Gallagher has recently been named one of the 100 greatest comedians of all time by Comedy Central. This show is rated R for adult language and content.

Although Gallagher has long been associated with fruit-smashing, during his shows, there will NOT be smashing of any products during this show.

The show takes place at the Tryon Fine Arts Center located at 34 Melrose Ave. in Tryon Saturday, June 10 at 8 p.m.
