Anyone still interested in enrolling a child in Polk County Schools’ preschool program for the 2017-18 school year can still attend one of two enrollment events planned for June 15 at Stearns Educational Center.

Sessions will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. for those with children who will be 4 years old by August 31, 2017. There is limited availability at this time for children who will be 3 years old by August 31.

Applications are available at each elementary school, at Stearns Educational Center and online at polkschools.org/preschool. Applications will also be available at each event.

Anyone attending one of the two preschool events should bring the following documents: Child’s birth certificate, proof of residency and proof of income.

Snacks and activities will be provided. The length of the event (about one hour) is not child-friendly, so guests may want to have their child stay with family or friends during the event.
