POLK COUNTY DISTRICT COURT RESULTS

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 131 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Christian D. Allison was convicted of reckless driving-wanton disregard. Allison was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Darnell Keith Beatty was convicted of rear seat belt violation, speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Beatty was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served and fined $50.

James Beverly Bross was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Bross was fined $40 and court costs.

Horace Wayne Carson was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Carson was fined $97 and court costs.

Brook Charlene Davis was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Davis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Laura Hines Dellinger was convicted of speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. Dellinger was fined $50 and court costs.

Sabrina Renee Durrah was convicted of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Durrah was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $25 fine and court costs.

Chad Allen Harrison was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Harrison was fined $40 and court costs.

Victoria Lynn Hegler was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Hegler was sentenced to four days in jail with credit for time served.

Shelby Lynn Laughter was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Laughter was fined $50 and court costs.

Marshall Alan Pye was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Pye was to pay court costs.

Walter Ramirezcardenas was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Ramirezcardenas was fined $40 and court costs.

Melissa Wilkie Waters was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Waters was fined $50 and court costs.

Jamison Dane White was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. White was fined $50 and court costs.

Tyler Alan White was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. White was fined $40 and court costs.
